She started as a jewellery designer with a Masters in Fine Arts from Stella Maris College, Chennai. The monotony of a gym workout pushed her to weave a different design of keeping fit and she discovered the jewel called Yoga ! Since then, it has become an integral part of her life. Her journey as an instructor began at the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre in Madurai. Armed with a rich experience of traditional yoga for a few years through classes and workshops, she began Acroyoga courses with Acroyoga Inc and eventually merited herself as an internationally certified Acro Yoga Instructor from Acroyoga international, only one from Chennai. She has conducted innumerous Acroyoga workshops in Chennai, Cochin, and Pune. The workshops and classes continue still.
Her interest in the body-mind connect also led her to become Certified in Thai Yoga Massage through the Sunshine Massage School in Thailand. She has also been certified by The Osho International to facilitate the Meditations. The individual insights she gained in life and in her illustrious Yoga journey has shaped her outlook of life in a meaningful way.

Partner yoga is a fun practice which brings people together to create new postures. It helps in going a little deeper in terms of stretch and strengthening. You use movement, play, breath, touch in this where you will learn to let go and enjoy yourself. It brings in a child like approach as sometimes we take life too seriously.
In learning to trust another person, you deepen your ability to trust yourself. Partner Yoga practices reveal the beauty of our interdependence. We see that when we take the risk to become vulnerable in the presence of another, we are empowered to go much deeper with much less effort.
This is also true in life. We can accomplish much more, with much more joy and ease when we support each other.
There is no giver or receiver in a yoga pose within Partner Yoga. Both partners are fully engaged in their own experience, each with their own clear role of support for the other person – creating that perfect sense of balance.

Acroyoga for everybody
In today's changing world where all of us want to feel secure, take charge, control but won't trust or let ourselves be , Acroyoga comes in as a yoga of trust. It is where you take control by letting go and begin your journey towards the art of giving and receiving.
As by definition, Acro Yoga is a beautiful synergy that combines the wisdom of Yoga, the dynamics of Acrobatics, and the therapeutic powers of Thai Massage.
These 3 lineages form the foundation of practice that cultivates trust, playfulness and community. Working with a partner will help to develop direct and compassionate verbal communication. As you learn to support others, you will end up allowing yourself to be supported. Participants benefit physically through strengthening, mentally through patience, and emotionally through trust and letting go, besides it being a lot of fun! Workshop will include partnering yoga poses, counterbalancing techniques, and therapeutic flying. One need to just bring oneself with an open heart to Connect, Trust, Play and Fly in a supportive environment. No previous experience or partner is needed for the workshop.

Thai Yoga Massage
The term "massage" immediately makes one think of a luxurious spa with essential oils being used to relax your body. Some of you even cringe at the thought. But what if all the elements of "massage", as we know it now, are completely misleading. What if the true essence of massage was to connect the mind, body and soul to bring a person into a complete state of relaxation that penetrates deeper than the physical ? A dynamic bodywork therapy, Thai yoga massage, based on yoga and Ayurveda practices provides a comprehensive full body treatment that relieves muscular tension, improves circulation and balances the body energetically. It is performed on a mattress on the floor; both client and practitioner are dressed in comfortable clothing allowing ease of movement and flexibility.
It is beyond just mechanical movements to relax your body, it is a pure spiritual experience which involves massaging on the pressure points and energy lines along with a lot of yoga based stretches.By allowing energy to flow more freely, the massage works to alleviate problematic conditions and also works to restore balance and create a deep state of relaxation and well-being for both the client and practitioner.It's an ancient traditional massage practice and should not be confused with any other types that you might know.
